Gadsden Man Killed in Early Morning Shooting; Two Arrested for Capital Murder

Gadsden, Alabama – Early on February 14, a shooting incident in downtown Gadsden resulted in the death of 22-year-old Jaden Demiere James during an apparent robbery. Local police reported that the shooting occurred around 6th Street, prompting an immediate investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crime.

In connection with the incident, authorities have arrested two men: 22-year-old Jaden Ahman Fluker and 21-year-old Daemon Motley, both facing charges of capital murder. The police assured the community that the shooting appears to be isolated, alleviating concerns about broader safety risks in the area.
