2024 ASWA All-State High School Football for All Classifications
The Alabama Sports Writers Association has announced the All-State football teams for high school players across various classifications, along with honorable mentions and coaches of the year. In Class 7A, Trent Seaborn from Thompson was named first-team quarterback, while key players like AJ Alexander, Omar Mabson, and Tristan Williams dominated the running back positions. Defensive standout Malik Autry from Opelika excelled on the line.
Class 6A saw KJ Lacey of Saraland recognized as the first-team quarterback, supported by a strong group of running backs including Stuart Andrews and Kolin Wilson. The defensive lineup featured Antonio Coleman from Saraland leading a formidable defensive line.
In Class 5A, Charlie Johnston of Moody was the first-team quarterback, with running backs Jake Harper and Cam Phinizee contributing significantly to their teams.
Classes 4A and 3A showcased talents like Gunner Rivers from St. Michael and Kadyn Mitchell from Houston Academy as standout quarterbacks.
Class 2A featured Preston Lancaster of Tuscaloosa Academy leading the offense, while Ziquayvion Jackson of McKenzie took the helm in Class 1A.
Coaching accolades included Chip English from Hoover as Coach of the Year in Class 7A, while Drew Phillips from West Morgan and Darrell Higgins from Mars Hill earned honors in their respective classes. This recognition showcases exceptional player talent and coaching across Alabama’s high school football landscape.
