In response to the recommendation that was made, the Home Treatment Team performed a comprehensive assessment of Miss Kelly’s current health and mental state. The review included a comprehensive medical history as well as a physical examination. The review also included a thorough psychological assessment, family therapy assessment and a psychiatric diagnose interview.
According to the report, Miss Kelly suffered from a number of mental health issues, including borderline personality disorders, bulimia, and anorexia. She also had an history of addiction to drugs and had experienced domestic abuse. Her symptoms were caused by anxiety, stress, and depression. She was also diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder as well as schizophrenia-related disorder.
Elayaperumal claims Medtronic discriminated against him in a deliberate way due to his race or national origin. He claims that his poor performance review in June of 2000 as well as the decision not to grant him certain project assignments were motivated by racism. Medtronic has not provided evidence that its decisions were based on these factors.
